You woke up with a soft groan. Your eyes and head felt sore. You looked at the clock telling you that it's time to get up. You slowly got up and shuffled to the bathroom. In the mirror, your eyes were lightly red with purple circling them signaling your fatigue. You washed your face and brushed your hair slower than usual and also stretched your arms and legs to get blood flowing. You changed into your daytime outfit and went to the kitchen.

The guys were finishing up breakfast and April was with them as you realized that she must have spent the night here. "Morning sleep-head!" Mikey called out. "Morning." You replied going to the fridge. "Yeesh, you looked wiped." Raph pointed out. "I didn't sleep well last night." You said feigning a yawn. "We all have one of those nights." Leo said. You felt in the mood for some cereal and made yourself a bowl and sat with the guys.

As you ate you noticed April's hair was up in a back bun. You tensed up at the familiarity of the hair. "What's with the new hairstyle?" You asked. "I was experimenting with hairstyles that I was thinking of wearing to the masquerade, ohh, and I also just ordered silver heels that will complete the dress!" April said.

In shock you accidently swallowed your cereal wrong and had a loud coughing fit. Raph firmly pat your back. "Geez, are you so tired that you forgot how to eat?" He teased. As your coughing receded, you were deep in thought, in fear that your dream is almost coming true. You zoned out, pushed your cereal aside and immediately went back to your room. The overwhelming feelings of despair and fear were too much and you immediately broke down. The April in your dream is becoming a reality, April being with Donnie is becoming a reality, the agony you felt was also too much reality, you almost wished you could die right there.

You heard a gentle knock on your door. You tried to swallow down your tears but it was difficult. "(Y/N?) May I come in?" You recognized the voice as Master Splinters. "Come in." You choked up. Sensei opened the door and sat next to you on the bed. "Your brothers are worried about you, they said that you have changed. What is troubling you?" He asked. "It's dumb Sensei." You whimpered hiding behind your hands. "A problem is never ridiculous if it makes one so upset." He assured. You took a deep breath. "I had a dream a few months ago…" You began.

You explained what happened in the dream, how everything that April wore in the dream was what she was planning on wearing in real life, and your fears of it becoming a reality. "I'm so hopeless Sensei." You sighed wiping your tears. Splinter was silent for a few seconds. "May I ask you a few questions?" He said. "Of course Sensei." You said.

"Leonardo, Raphael and Michelangelo, how do you feel about them?" He asked. "I adore them Sensei, they are my brothers." You replied honestly. "How would you feel if they were sad?" He asked. "I would want to try to cheer them up, it hurts to see them sad." You said.

"I see, now about Donatello, how do you feel about him?" He asked. You were quiet for a few seconds, trying to put together the best way you felt about him. "I love him Sensei, he is my everything, I feel so refreshed when I see him, my dreams and thoughts are clouded of him, I can barely eat or sleep, I'm so aware of his presence, I just- I don't know what would happen if I never loved him." You said feeling a little lighter getting that off your chest. "How would you feel if he was sad?" Again you were quiet few a few moments. "Seeing him sad is the worst pain I can imagine, I would rather die than see him sad. His happiness means the world to me." You confessed. "If Donatello ends up choosing April, and he is happy, how would you feel?" He asked. It clicked what he was trying to say. "Even if I cry for the rest of my life, Donatello's happiness is more important to me than my own, because I love him." You realized saying it. You turned to Splinter. "Whatever happens, I only want to wish for him is happiness." "And you are extremely generous and kind for wishing that." He replied. You gave him a hug. "Thank you Sensei." You graciously said. "You are very welcome my child." He replied hugging you back. "Now don't you have some breakfast to eat?" He asked. You nodded as you both got up and left the room.

"If I love Donnie, because I love Donnie, his decision will bring him happiness and I only want that for him."
